Finland is a key game design and development hub at a European and Global level. In addition to mainstream game design (The global Angry Birds franchise is 100% made in FI!), our Nordic nation is also increasingly becoming a force in the iGaming – online casino and sports betting – scene. The Air Dice Global HQ is in Helsinki, along with other key iGaming industry software solutions such as FinnPlay, the iGaming platform focused on regulated markets.

This month, another first, is happening for the Finnish iGaming scene, the 1st Official Finnish iGaming Conference is happening. This will be the first event, that brings together operators, regulators, government officials, investors, game studios, platforms, aggregators, and providers that are interested in learning about the future of the Finnish iGaming regulatory regime. Much is being said across the board on upcoming developments so interest in the region is possibly at an all-time high!

At such a time, and as one of the first enterprises in Finland fully focused on the iGaming industry, Air Dice is an official and key sponsor of this executive event. Erkki Nikunen, Partner & Global CBDO for our Group commented: “If it’s about iGaming in Finland, we will be there. We have long believed in both the industry at a global level and Finland’s technical capabilities. We are proud to sponsor one of many more Finnish iGaming events to come!”

The conference shall be held at the prestigious Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa, the event schedule shall cover topics of various natures but also practical insights into how to enter this newly regulated market. According to various sources, the Finnish iGaming system is supposed to start in early Autumn following multiple workshops and round tables that happened in the recent months.
